Macfrut 2019: the best of Italian fruit and vegetables
From 8 to 10 May at the Rimini Fair the international showcase for fruit and vegetables. Over 1100 exhibitors, 25% from abroad, 1500 invited buyers, 60 events. Sub-Saharan Africa and Piedmont partner of the fair. Fruit and vegetable sector, a strategic sector for Italy, the first item of agri-food exports.
Internationalization and innovation. These are the cornerstones of the 36th edition of Macfrut, the international fruit and vegetable fair, in the Rimini exhibition halls from 8 to 10 May 2019. The only trade fair on the international scene, the three-day event aims to represent the pride of a key system of the agri-food made in Italy, the first item of export (including processed and preserved fruit and vegetables) with around 8.4 billion euros, of which 4.9 are fresh. Eleven exhibition sectors that make Macfrut unique in the context of sector fairs: seeds; vegetable novelties and nursery plants; field technologies; technical means; production, trade and distribution; biological; post harvest machinery and technologies; packaging materials and packaging; fourth range; logistics; services. Macfrut is a reference event for professionals in the fruit and vegetable sector in Italy and Europe. It is a vertical fair, which represents the entire supply chain: 11 sectors. The BtoB meetings, meeting areas and specialized conventions and many side events offer to those who visit not only a moment of business, but also of knowledge and study. Macfrut is a professional event qualified by a constantly growing international presence.
