Annurca it is the oldest of the known and cultivated apples in Italy (described since Roman times), it is a winter variety with high vigor and an upright habit. Sometimes subject to alternation and pre-harvest drop. It is currently grafted onto dwarfing rootstocks. Annurca has medium-small fruits (average weight 148 g). The skin is thick, at first yellowish green then intensely streaked with bright red when ripe. The pulp is white, very firm, compact, medium-juicy, sweet, acidulous, medium-aromatic and with good organoleptic characteristics.
Pollination: Self-incompatible, recommended pollinators: Abundance, Red delicious, Imperatore Dallago
It is harvested in the first decade of October (+ 25 Golden Delicious clone B)
